Moxibustion

Closely linked to acupuncture is the so-called moxibustion. This means that the glowing moxa is placed on points on the skin to heat the blood and facilitate the flow of blood and energy and and a result strengthen the yang. Clinically moxibustion is used together with acupuncture.

Acupressure

Acupressure is used as a supplement or an alternative to acupuncture. The treatment involves pressing different parts of the body with fingers and hands and follows the meridians and acupuncture points’ system.
